Stationary style drapes are available in a host of styles and fabrics, any of the Traversing styles will also work as Stationary Draperies. Stationary Drapes are usually used to accent other window treatments. Rod pocket draperies and hourglass draperies are used on French doors, other doors with windows, as well as on sidelights.
As with traverse draperies, there are numerous heading styles available; including different types of shirring that can be used to produce interesting designs at the top of the treatment.
Drapery hardware that is available to mount Stationary Draperies range from a plain white traverse rod, to an elaborate, custom painted or handmade decorative curtain rod.
